Margeaux Pepoy (born Andrew Pepoy, 1969) is an American comic book writer and artist whose prolific output spans more than three decades of work across some of the medium's most recognizable titles. Breaking into the industry around 1991, Pepoy built a reputation as a versatile talent comfortable wearing multiple hats — penciling, inking, lettering, and writing — across roughly 750 credited issues.
Much of Pepoy's most sustained work appears in connection with Bill Willingham's celebrated Fables universe, contributing to both Fables and its spin-off Jack of Fables. Alongside that fantasy work, Pepoy logged significant time on humor-driven licensed titles, including Simpsons Comics and Bongo Comics Presents Futurama Comics, demonstrating a facility for comedic visual storytelling that contrasts pleasingly with the darker tone of the Fables books. DC's Robin also features among the titles where Pepoy made a notable contribution, as does the long-running Sonic the Hedgehog series.
The breadth of those credits — superhero, all-ages, literary fantasy, and licensed comedy — reflects a career built on adaptability and craft rather than a single signature style. Still active as recently as 2025, Pepoy's career represents a quiet but substantial presence in American mainstream and independent comics alike.
