The second issue of DC's 1994 Steel series wastes no time establishing its hero as a force to be reckoned with — the cover by Jon Bogdanove and Dennis Janke captures Steel in full silver armor, hammer in hand, trading a bone-jarring clash with a green-clad, goggled adversary against a burst of blinding light. That title, "Turf War!", perfectly matches the raw kinetic energy of two powerfully built figures colliding in mid-air, neither giving an inch.
