The whole Mystery Inc. gang — Fred, Velma, Daphne, Scooby-Doo, and Shaggy — reacts with alarm as a snarling, ghostly sabertooth cat looms over a cage in what looks like a wild, rocky setting, with a safari-uniformed figure standing calmly nearby. Shaggy's cover speech bubble says it all: "Zoinks! Like Scoob's not a sabertooth — that is!!" — setting the tone for a creature feature with plenty of laughs and chills. Vince DePorter's cover art captures the gang's full spectrum of reactions beautifully, making this 2004 DC issue a fun read for fans of the WB Kids animated series.
