A week after being told she's was doing a great job at Sacks, Betty is abruptly fired. And, just as Archie and Ambrose finish the new restaurant, they are shut down by 3 building inspectors who show up mysteriously. Archie and Betty then get lifetime opportunities -- she to sell artwork and he to score a movie. Hiram disapproves of Veronica's and Reggie's relationship, especially since Reggie can't seem to hold down a job. And Midge has second thoughts about marrying Jughead until she realizes he really does love her.
