☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis Marvel adaptation brings the 1991 film Hook to comics, following adult Peter Banning as he returns to Neverland to rescue his children from Captain Hook. The story reimagines Peter Pan as a corporate lawyer who must rediscover his inner child and rally the Lost Boys—including Rufio, Pockets, and Thud Butt—against Hook's pirate crew. Featuring key characters like Tinkerbell, Wendy Darling, and Smee, the collection faithfully captures the movie's blend of adventure and nostalgia.
"Hook" #1 (1991) delivers a haunting, visually rich reimagining of the Peter Pan legend, with Charles Vess writing and drawing the cover in collaboration with a stellar team of artists including John Ridgway, Denis Rodier, and Gray Morrow. When Captain Hook abducts Peter Pan’s children to draw him back to Neverland, Peter—now a grown man with no memory of his past—must rediscover who he once was with help from Tinkerbell and the Lost Boys. The story unfolds in a dreamlike Neverland where magic, memory, and flight collide, all rendered in lush, evocative art and bold colors.
