Starjammers #3

Warren Ellis and Carlos Pacheco's Starjammers limited series builds toward something menacing in this December 1995 installment, subtitled "Collapsar." The cover — penciled by Pacheco and inked by Cam Smith — delivers on its bold promise: a massive, green-fanged alien maw dominates the composition while a dark, powerfully built figure grapples at its jaws, blood-red claws locked in a desperate struggle. "Revealed — The Face of the Enemy!!" the cover declares, and that snarling, yellow-eyed visage more than earns the dramatic billing.
