Hello Nurse takes center stage on this celebratory 50th issue cover, jet-propelling herself skyward while the full Animaniacs gang — Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Pinky, the Brain, and more — pile chaotically into what appears to be a flying wooden boat above a city skyline. The bold cover copy "Hello Nurse Saves the Animaniacs!" sets up the premise with playful energy, and the cover pencils by Leonardo Batic and inks by Mike DeCarlo give the whole frantic scene a wonderfully expressive, animated feel. A fitting milestone for DC's long-running tie-in to one of the WB's most beloved animated series.
