Jack may be under a "fat curse," but his problems are about to get considerably larger — as the cover by Brian Bolland makes hilariously clear, showing a visibly rounder Jack screaming in wide-eyed horror before an enormous, spike-crested dragon perched atop a gleaming mountain of gold coins and treasure. The speech bubble delivers the punchline with perfect fairy-tale absurdity: slay the dragon, break the curse — simple enough, right? This fourth and final chapter of "Jack Dragon: The New Adventures of Jack and Jack," written by Bill Willingham and Matthew Sturges with interior art by Russ Braun, promises a fittingly over-the-top conclusion to one of Vertigo's most gleefully irreverent series.
