Godzilla #10
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThat cover painting by Bob Eggleton says it all — Godzilla erupts from a storm-lashed sea, surrounded by churning waves and crackling lightning, every dorsal plate and snarling jaw rendered with painterly intensity. The teaser "Horror on the High Seas! Godzilla vs. … The Spanish Armada?!" promises a wild collision of eras that writer Alex Cox and artist Brandon McKinney bring to life inside. Dark Horse's 1996 run was doing something genuinely fun with the King of the Monsters, and issue #10 looks like a high point of that ambition.
