Godzilla fills the cover of this 1996 Dark Horse issue with raw, reptilian menace, his jaws wide open and a blazing beam of atomic breath tearing across the darkness — Bob Eggleton's painted cover work giving the King of the Monsters a genuinely unsettling, larger-than-life presence. The cover promises a wild ride through history, teasing encounters tied to the Titanic and the great San Francisco earthquake as Godzilla apparently runs amok across time itself. With Alex Cox writing and Brandon McKinney on interior art, this third chapter of "Godzilla King of the Monsters" looks like a thoroughly entertaining stretch of kaiju mayhem.
