Robin dominates the foreground of Phil Noto's cover for this November 2003 issue, his cape sweeping dramatically behind him while a blue-skinned, dreadlocked figure armed with a large weapon looms in the circular background — all framed against a muted, atmospheric palette that gives the scene real tension. A circular inset at lower left spotlights Nightwing, his expression serious, suggesting the two Bat-family members share something significant in this chapter. With a creative team of Jon Lewis, Pete Woods, and Andrew Pepoy steering the story, "Sniped" promises exactly the kind of street-level intrigue this series does so well.
