Spinning out of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, this Vertigo series wraps up its opening arc with issue #4 of Dead Boy Detectives, on sale in May 2014. Mark Buckingham's cover is a wonderfully unsettling composition: three young figures — the ghost-pale detectives and a companion — are reflected in a pair of spectacle lenses, while a gaunt, hollow-eyed menace looms large in the background, watching from above. Written by Toby Litt and Buckingham, with inks by Gary Erskine, this concluding chapter of "Schoolboy Terrors" promises a ghostly mystery with real atmosphere to spare.
