Part of the "Future Shock" arc, this February 1996 issue of New Warriors opens with a cover by Patrick Zircher and Andrew Pepoy that wastes no time setting a brutal tone — a blue-skinned figure reels from a glowing energy blast while a hulking, textured creature looms overhead in mid-attack, with additional combatants crackling in the background. The raw kinetic energy Zircher brings to the composition makes the chaos feel genuinely dangerous rather than merely busy. With Evan Skolnick at the helm for "Just Yesterday," this is a solid entry in one of Marvel's more underrated team books of the mid-'90s.
