Part of DC's 1993 "Bloodlines: Deathstorm" crossover event, this L.E.G.I.O.N. '93 annual plunges readers into a "Hell-World Where Parasites Rule!" Barry Kitson's cover — pencils and inks both his own — depicts a fierce, long-haired warrior wielding a scythe-like weapon while battling a white-masked figure atop a crashed vehicle, with a green-skinned alien, a purple-mohawked fighter, and other characters crowding the foreground, all while massive alien tentacles loom ominously in the background. Inside, writer Mark Waid and a full art team including Mike McKone, Tom Tenney, and several inkers bring the story "Blood Relatives" to life in what promises to be a suitably wild and dangerous corner of the L.E.G.I.O.N. universe.
