Simpsons Comics #135
In "Homer Drops the Ball!", Homer’s accidental catch of a record-breaking home run ball catapults him into unexpected fame—though not without a few family tensions. When Marge steps in to balance the spotlight, the ball becomes a symbol of more than just a moment in time, stirring up feelings from Bart to the original owner, Danny Dings. Written by James W. Bates and illustrated by John Delaney, with colors by Art Villanueva and letters by Karen Bates, this 2007 issue captures a quirky, heartfelt moment in Springfield’s history, all on a cover by Bill Morrison and Jason Ho, inked by Mike Rote.
