Midnight Sons Unlimited #9
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA painted cover by Alex Ross sets a striking wartime tone for this May 1995 anthology issue, depicting a flaming-skulled Ghost Rider cruciform at the center, flanked by a snarling costumed figure on the left and a blue-masked, gun-wielding figure on the right — all framed by stained-glass windows and Iron Cross imagery that drives home the "Ghost Rider 1945" setting. The composition has the solemn grandeur of a war memorial, making this one of the more atmospheric entries in the Midnight Sons Unlimited run. Bonus content featuring the Legion of Night rounds out an already ambitious package from Dan Slott, James W. Fry III, and the rest of the creative team.
