Superboy is recovering in the hospital when Maggie Sawyer recruits him to help track down the Bloodlines aliens. The aliens have secretly set up in a building and started a cult to attract food. Meanwhile, D.C. Force and her Uncle Harry have arrived in town. They are from a family of super-heroes, and it's time for D.C. to get her powers. In the battle with the aliens, D.C. is bitten, transforming her into Sparx. Sparx and Superboy run off the aliens.
