Mutant X #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of Mutant X #2 says it all: a red-haired woman in purple, a wide-eyed blonde man, and two other heroes are swarmed and pinned down by a horde of small grotesque creatures, while a menacing insectoid figure — the apparent leader of the Swarms of Moot — looms over them with energy crackling from its fist. Cover artists Tom Raney and Andrew Pepoy pack the composition with squirming, creeping chaos that makes the tagline "Overpowered… by the Swarms of Moot!" feel completely earned. Howard Mackie's "No Way Out!" looks like a genuinely tough corner for this alternate-universe team to fight their way through.
