In "With Great Power...", Bart and Milhouse ditch their usual mischief for a wild quest to gain superpowers, testing everything from lab accidents to lightning strikes and bee stings—until a dose of radiation finally brings them face-to-face with the real power move: being a kid. Homer tries to steer them toward the truth, but even his wisdom can't stop Milhouse from getting his usual comeuppance.

When Mr. Burns realizes Waylon Smithers is missing, he ventures into the depths of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant’s basement—only to stumble through a surreal maze of goblins, ghosts, and even Frodo and Sam battling Shelob. Amid the chaos, he finally locates Smithers, who’s facing a minotaur, and springs into action with unexpected heroism. The two share a meal of bacon, though Smithers declines—leaving the reason a mystery.

Bart’s curiosity gets the better of him when he wonders what’s really going on behind the scenes at Krusty Burger, sparking a wild imagination from Milhouse—complete with a monkey staff and a sudden panic over Ebola. The thought of his food becomes too much to bear, leaving him staring at his meal with growing dread.

When Professor Frink’s dimension-hopping machine goes haywire in Bart’s classroom, the duo finds themselves stranded in a bizarre alternate reality—where a mystical version of Frink, known as Plasmo the Mystic, battles the sand-based menace Sand Snake. As Bart and Frink team up with a surprisingly powerful Plasmo, they uncover strange echoes of their own world, leaving behind more questions than answers.
