Cable #84

Cable #84 finds Marvel's silver-streaked soldier at the center of a genuinely tense cover scene, with Cable — wearing his X-Men uniform and screaming in apparent agony — caught in the grip of writhing, mechanical tendrils that crackle with blinding energy. Flanking him are a snarling blue-furred beast to his left and a wide-eyed redheaded woman to his right, both reacting with visceral urgency to whatever force is tearing through him. Cover pencils by Michael Ryan and inks by Mark Morales give the whole image a kinetic, almost tactile charge that makes "Out of Space & Time" feel like a story operating at full throttle.
