Laura Martin — also known earlier in her career as Laura DePuy — is one of the most prolific and respected colorists working in American mainstream comics. Born in 1975, she entered the industry in the late 1990s and has remained a consistent presence across more than two decades, accumulating credits on some 782 issues between 1998 and 2026.

Her output spans the major publishers, with significant work at Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and CrossGen. Among her most frequently credited titles are *Astonishing X-Men*, *New Avengers*, *Black Panther*, *Wonder Woman*, and *Star Wars* — a range that reflects both her versatility and the confidence editors across the industry have placed in her. She took the professional name Laura Martin after marrying Randy Martin in 2001, and the two names appear across her body of work depending on the era.
