A-Force #1
"Cabeza de flecha" introduces A-Force, the all-female superhero team defending the matriarchal nation of Arcadia in the Battleworld realm, as they confront a sudden megalodon attack during a routine patrol. When Ms. América deflects the creature into the sacred Shield wall—violating the laws of the god-emperor Doom—she is arrested by Doom’s enforcers, the Thors, despite She-Hulk’s appeal, sentencing her to life in the Shield Prison. Later, Nico Minoru encounters a mysterious being fallen from the sky, hinting at deeper mysteries unfolding across Arcadia. Written by Marguerite Bennett, G. Willow Wilson, and Arturo Gutiérrez, with art by Jorge Molina and inks by Craig Yeung, colors by Laura Martin and Matt Milla, and letters by VC's Cory Petit, the issue features a cover by Jim Cheung.
In the matriarchal nation of Arcadia, part of the Battleworld realm, A-Force patrols the border wall known as the Shield when a giant megalodon attacks. Ms. América’s desperate move to hurl the creature over the Shield breaks the sacred law of the Emperor Doom, leading to her arrest by the Thors, the enforcers of Doom’s will—despite She-Hulk’s plea. Now imprisoned for life within the Shield’s prison, Ms. América’s fate hangs in the balance as Nico Minoru encounters a mysterious being fallen from the sky.
In "Cabeza de flecha," Lady Katherine del Bishop—secretly the masked hero Cabeza de flecha—rides with her friends Billy and Teddy through a caravan of boastful warriors, only to learn of a mysterious sphere that could expose her identity to the Punisher. Racing to the Cathedral of the God Doom, she and her allies attempt to steal it before it's used against her, unaware the artifact is a trap. With a daring leap through a shattered window, Kate throws herself into battle against enemy forces, leading to her capture and imprisonment at The Shield.
In "Adoramos lo que no comprendemos," Jo and her fellow mutants face a deadly reckoning when they’re drawn into a conspiracy against the divine Baronesa Khonshu of Egypt. Led by Wolverine, the team journeys into the desert to meet Spector, who bears the god’s mark—only to learn that even gods can be flawed, and that time is running out.
