Uncanny Avengers #14

Scarlet Witch blazes with crackling pink energy at the center of this striking Steve McNiven cover, her arms outstretched in full command of her hex powers while an enormous, looming figure tears open the space around her like a curtain. The visual tension between the two — one calm and imposing, the other fierce and radiant — sets a genuinely compelling tone for "The Day nor the Hour." Rick Remender and McNiven's 2014 run on Uncanny Avengers consistently delivered this kind of charged, character-driven drama, and issue #14 looks to be no exception.
