Thor fills the cover with fists clenched around Mjolnir and lightning crackling at his back — it's a portrait of raw Asgardian power that Olivier Coipel and Mark Morales render with striking intensity. J. Michael Straczynski's celebrated run reaches issue #11, and the winged-helmeted God of Thunder looks every bit as formidable here as his reputation demands. A fine chapter in one of 2008's most compelling Marvel titles.
