The eerie, blue-charged cover of Ultimates 2 #2 sets a tense, unsettling tone for "Dead Man Walking," the second chapter of the "Gods and Monsters" arc. Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary's cover art places a bespectacled man in the foreground, his face ghostly and translucent against crackling electric light, while a shadowed, anguished figure looms behind him — an image that crackles with dread and the suggestion of something deeply wrong.
