Namor begins to tear Wakanda apart looking for one of the captured X-Men. The Avengers actually manage to work together and beat him but the Phoenix force simply leaves his body and joins the four remaining X-Men it is currently possessing. The Avengers escape to K'un Lun. Professor X telepathically contacts Cyclops and tells him to stop this Phoenix nonsense or he will force him to stop.
