As he drives through Texas, desperate to reach his family, he discovers too late that he’s already infected—and the virus is spreading fast. Written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and illustrated by Mike Perkins, with bold, haunting colors by Laura Martin and sharp lettering by Chris Eliopoulos, this gripping first issue sets a chilling tone.
