Superman #37 brings the New 52 "Men of Tomorrow" arc to its fifth chapter with a cover image that's hard to look away from — a battered, smoldering Man of Steel strides forward through a hellish, smoke-choked landscape, his costume shredded and his eyes burning red against a face etched with exhaustion and resolve. John Romita Jr. and Klaus Janson render the scene with raw, gritty energy, every torn thread and scorched patch of cape speaking to a brutal ordeal.
