In the wake of a devastating attack on Soldier Field, Volstagg finds himself caught in a deadly trap set by Loki and Norman Osborn, forcing him into a brutal clash with the alien invaders. As chaos erupts during a football game and the skies above Oklahoma darken with the looming presence of Asgard, a fractured team of heroes—including a returning Steve Rogers, a wary Tony Stark, and a vengeful Ares—must confront the truth behind the invasion before the world collapses.

In the wake of Thor’s fall, Asgard teeters on the brink as Norman Osborn’s forces close in—until Maria Hill, heavily armed and resolute, arrives to pull the God of Thunder from the brink. With Ares uncovering Norman’s deception about Loki, the God of War turns on his former ally, only to be torn apart in a brutal clash with the Sentinela. As the tide shifts, Captain America rallies a vast coalition of heroes, from Ms. Marvel and Luke Cage to Wiccan and the Vision, and they launch a desperate aerial counteroffensive against Osborn’s army.

In the aftermath of Asgard’s fall to Earth, Loki attempts to break the siege by enchanting several of the Captain’s heroes using the Norn Stones from the Capuz. As the Vazio responds with devastating force, the heroes must confront both the encroaching darkness and the consequences of their own choices.
