Black Panther #4
Against a striking green-and-purple field, Brian Stelfreeze's cover for this fourth chapter of "A Nation Under Our Feet" pits the Black Panther — claws raised, masked face composed and predatory — against a wild-haired, green-skinned figure whose bared teeth and unsettling yellow eyes radiate menace. A glowing circular Wakandan-style glyph hovers between them, hinting at forces beyond the physical at play. Ta-Nehisi Coates and Stelfreeze, with colors by Laura Martin, continue to bring something genuinely thoughtful and visually distinctive to T'Challa's world.
