With mutants lining up to take the cure, the X-Men are scrambling to keep their school intact. Ord confronts Rao and it is revealed that it is his alien technology that allowed the doctor to make a cure for the mutant gene. Cyclops visits Nick Fury concerning this new threat but Fury remains neutral. Wolverine discovers that Beast has obtained a sample of the cure from Dr. Rao and commands that he destroy it. The pair battle through the halls of the school until Emma stops them. Beast discovers the body that Rao is testing her samples on and tells the X-Men that they have to get to Benetech.
