Astonishing X-Men #4
In "Unstoppable [Part One]," the X-Men face a dire threat from the Breakworld, where Aghanne mourns a lost child while dismissing ancient prophecies. On S.W.O.R.D.'s ship, the team—Hisako, Ord, and Danger—arrive to confront a missile aimed at Earth, only to be ambushed by Powerlord Kruun. With Agent Brand’s plan unraveling and their vessel destroyed, the heroes are left drifting in space, their survival hanging in the balance. Joss Whedon’s sharp storytelling and John Cassaday’s dynamic art bring this high-stakes mission to life, with cover by Cassaday capturing the tension in bold, striking detail.

On the Breakworld Aghanne presides over the funeral of a baby and professes not to believe in the prophecies of the ship’s destruction. On S.W.O.R.D.'s ship, the X-Men, Hisako, Ord and Danger arrive. After some fighting, Agent Brand explains the Breakworld's prophecy that Colossus will stop them, they have a missile targeting Earth, and she needs superheroes to win this fight. Sydren declares Emma Frost free of Cassandra Nova. Agent Brand uses Ord to bait Powerlord Kruun, but he moves too fast and their ship is intercepted and destroyed, leaving them about to be exposed to the vacuum of space.
