“Round 11”

"Round 11" brings the escalating conflict between the Avengers and X-Men to a brutal peak, as the X-Men defect and confront Cyclops and Emma Frost in a battle that tests loyalty and limits. Written by Jason Aaron, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Jonathan Hickman, and Matt Fraction, with dynamic art by Olivier Coipel and inks by Mark Morales, the issue captures the emotional weight of Xavier’s final stand and the shocking turn when Scott claims the Phoenix force—transforming into the Dark Phoenix in a moment that redefines the war. The cover by Jim Cheung perfectly encapsulates the chaos and consequence of the clash.
