Eddie comes to town. Recovering from his injuries, Peter finds out that Mary Jane has been hiding serious financial troubles from him. He also finds out that J. Jonah Jameson has offered a $5,000,000 reward for whoever can identify Spider-Man from his unmasked Bugle photo. Spider-Man takes down a rampaging Doc Ock who has been transferred from prison for some mysterious "tests." Once Doc Ock is collared, the cops decide to try and cash in on the Spider-Man reward by trying to yank off his mask.
