Giuseppe Camuncoli

Giuseppe Camuncoli, born March 2, 1975, in Italy, has built a career spanning more than two decades as one of the more versatile artists working in mainstream American and European comics. He is perhaps best recognized for his extended runs on Marvel's *The Amazing Spider-Man* and *The Superior Spider-Man*, where his kinetic figure work and expressive storytelling helped define those series during significant chapters in Peter Parker's history. His contributions to DC/Vertigo's long-running *Hellblazer* series further cemented his reputation as an artist capable of handling both superhero spectacle and darker, grittier material with equal confidence.

Beyond the traditional cape-and-cowl realm, Camuncoli illustrated *The Storms of Chai*, the concluding volume of Joe Dever's celebrated *Lone Wolf* gamebook series, released before Dever's death — a project that demonstrated the breadth of his interests outside mainstream comics. He also brought his talents to Star Wars mythology through Marvel's *Darth Vader* and contributed to the creator-owned series *Undiscovered Country*.
