“Spidey Still Standing”

In "Spidey Still Standing," Otto Octavius—still trapped in Spider-Man's body—faces a storm of personal and professional upheaval as he confronts Felicia on a Manhattan rooftop, then grapples with the weight of his past when Peter Parker’s life begins to unravel in his absence. Written by Dan Slott and brought to life by Giuseppe Camuncoli’s dynamic art and John Dell’s sharp inks, the issue explores identity, legacy, and the cost of redemption, all while Carlie’s warning to MJ hints at a deeper danger lurking in the shadows. The cover by Camuncoli and Dell captures the tension perfectly, a moment of defiance frozen in ink and shadow.

Otto meets Felicia on a Manhattan rooftop and punches her, leaving her to be turned over to authorities by his Spider-bots. As Peter Parker he receives a substantial loan from Aunt May and her husband to start his own research company. Later, he presents his doctoral thesis, but his advisor recognizes it as the work of Otto Octavius and accuses him of plagiarism.
