Hellblazer #294

Peter Milligan continues "The Curse of the Constantines" in this October 2012 installment from Vertigo, written alongside artists Giuseppe Camuncoli and Stefano Landini. Simon Bisley's cover is a visceral, unsettling portrait: a figure wearing a grotesque horned goat skull as a mask, blood-soaked hands clutching what appears to be a cigarette, while the name "CONSTANTINE" is scrawled in dripping red letters across a tiled wall behind them. It's a genuinely striking image that captures Hellblazer at its most darkly atmospheric.
