John Constantine crashes America's party in this February 2012 Vertigo installment, part four of "The Devil's Trench Coat." Simon Bisley's cover places a disheveled, grinning Constantine — sporting a gold crown, a Union Jack shirt, a cigarette dangling from his lips, and a raised golden cup — cheek-to-cheek with the Statue of Liberty, all against a massive Stars and Stripes banner and a smoldering sun. It's a sardonic, brilliantly composed image that captures Constantine's gift for turning up, uninvited, wherever the stakes are highest.
