Red Hood and the Outlaws #5
Part five of the "Dark Trinity" arc delivers one of the Rebirth era's most unsettling cover images: a snarling, corrupted Superman looms over Red Hood, whose signature red helmet is visible as he's grabbed and hurled by that terrifying figure. Artemis fights back on the right, axe in hand, while a menacing suited figure with a metal face watches from the shadows — cover pencils by Giuseppe Camuncoli and inks by Cam Smith give the whole scene a kinetic, city-street urgency. Lobdell, Soy, and Gandini's Rebirth run continues to push Jason Todd and his unlikely allies into increasingly dangerous territory.
