Issue #16 of Daken: Dark Wolverine opens the "Pride Comes..." arc with a cover that sets a sharp, noir-drenched tone — Daken stands cool and composed in a white suit, gun in hand, silhouetted against a smoky Los Angeles sunset while a defeated figure lies at his feet. The tagline "The Pride Comes Before the Fall" written across the wall behind him says everything about where this story is headed.
