Swamp Thing #16

Part six of the "Red Harvest" arc arrives in this August 2001 Vertigo entry, with a cover by Greg Staples that crackles with dread and firelight. A bloodied, wide-eyed woman clutches the ground beside a gravestone while a blade-wielding armored figure looms behind her against a sky burning with orange flame and scattered birds. Brian K. Vaughan writes, with interior art by Giuseppe Camuncoli and Marc Hempel, making this a compelling chapter in one of Vertigo's more atmospheric Swamp Thing runs.
