A battered, cigarette-smoking John Constantine stares out from a cascade of golden rings — his bandaged hand reaching forward, blood on his face — in this striking Simon Bisley cover for the second chapter of "Bloody Carnations." Peter Milligan's run on Hellblazer consistently delivered the occult noir the series is known for, and this December 2010 issue, with interior art by Giuseppe Camuncoli and Stefano Landini, looks to be no exception. The imagery of all those rings surrounding a beaten-but-defiant Constantine sets a wonderfully ominous tone for wherever "Life on Venus and Mars" is taking him.
