Venom War: Deadpool #2

Deadpool strides forward through a darkened tunnel with unlikely allies flanking him — a white-costumed figure to his left and a hulking, fur-collared brute to his right — while a massive, multi-limbed symbiote creature erupts from the shadows behind them, all snapping jaws and glowing red eyes. This second issue of Cullen Bunn and Rob Di Salvo's Venom War tie-in series promises chaotic company and even more chaotic threats, with the cover by Giuseppe Camuncoli doing an excellent job of selling the tension between the group pushing forward and the nightmare surging up behind them. If you're following the Venom War event, this one looks like a genuinely wild ride through the symbiote apocalypse with the Merc with a Mouth front and center.
