Spider-Verse #2

Part of Marvel's 2015 Secret Wars event, this issue of Spider-Verse features a striking cover by Giuseppe Camuncoli showing a blonde spider-hero in a black-and-crimson suit diving through a rain-lashed cityscape, with lightning crackling behind a looming suited figure above a sign for "Flushing Industries." The dynamic diagonal composition gives the whole thing a breathless, kinetic energy that pulls you right into the storm. Inside, Mike Costa and André Araújo (with colors by Rachelle Rosenberg) continue what promises to be a charged, web-spinning adventure.
