Twenty-five issues in, Undiscovered Country continues to deliver some of the most unsettling Americana-gone-wild imagery in comics, and this cover is a perfect example. Giuseppe Camuncoli illustrates a surreal forest floor where giant red apples dwarf a small group of human figures — some seeking cover, others standing warily — while the looming silhouette of an enormous insect creature dominates the moonlit background between towering trees. The scale contrast alone makes the threat feel genuinely overwhelming, capturing the series' signature sense of a transformed, unknowable America at its eerie best.
