Red Hood and the Outlaws #1

The DC Universe Rebirth era kicks off a bold new chapter here, with Red Hood front and center — dual pistols raised, bat-symbol emblazoned on his chest — flanked by a grinning, white-skinned Bizarro and a fierce, red-masked Artemis wielding an enormous battle axe and blade. Looming behind the trio, Batman's silhouette frames a menacing armored skull face rising over a darkened cityscape, setting an unmistakably gritty, street-level tone. Writer Scott Lobdell and artist Dexter Soy bring this unlikely crew together under pencils by Giuseppe Camuncoli and inks by Cam Smith for what promises to be one of 2016's most intriguing team dynamics.
