Darth Vader #10

The cover of this 2018 Marvel issue sets a genuinely tense scene: in the foreground, a silver-haired warrior in dark robes crouches ready for battle, blue lightsaber blazing and a glowing sigil on their chest, while Darth Vader looms in the misty background, red lightsaber ignited and cape billowing through the rubble-strewn gloom. It's a striking composition from Giuseppe Camuncoli that frames the concluding chapter of "The Dying Light" as a confrontation between darkness and whatever defiance remains. With Charles Soule writing and Camuncoli's atmospheric linework brought to life by Daniele Orlandini and colorist David Curiel, this is a beautifully rendered entry in Vader's ongoing saga.
