Infinity Wars: Arachknight #2

Part of Marvel's 2019 Infinity Warps event, this issue brings the armored, caped Arachknight swooping dramatically through a star-filled night sky above a glittering cityscape — red-gloved fists at the ready — while a snarling green werewolf-like creature crouches on a rooftop below, clutching a metallic object and baring its teeth. The tension between these two wildly mismatched figures, rendered with kinetic energy by cover penciler Giuseppe Camuncoli and inker Roberto Poggi, makes for a genuinely compelling confrontation. Dennis Hopeless and artist Alé Garza continue their mashup madness inside, and this second chapter promises the same inventive, anything-goes energy that makes the Infinity Warps corner of Marvel such a fun detour.
