The Joker has been captured by Vicky and Buddy Sampson, and they are transporting him back to the Sampson home in Texas where the family plans to kill him as revenge for the death of Billy Sampson. While Gordon recovers from his injuries in Gotham, Barbara and Julia have a plan to track down the Joker. But going against Barbara's advice, Jim has his own plan to track down the Joker.
