Part two of "No Turning Back" puts Spider-Man in a desperate spot, and the Camuncoli/Janson cover makes the stakes immediately clear: a feral, fanged creature looms over a battered man in a torn lab coat while Spider-Man crouches protectively in front of him, knee-deep in what looks like toxic runoff. The cover tag — "It's 'No Turning Back' for the Lizard and…" — hints that the situation is as grim as the glowing-eyed monster bearing down on them suggests. Dan Slott's 2012 run was firing on all cylinders, and this issue looks like one of its more intense chapters.
